Kevin Longino is the Senior Advisor to the CEO of the National Kidney Foundation and a kidney transplant recipient. He first became involved with the organization in 2008 as a volunteer advocate, and in 2012, he joined the National Board of Directors. He was named CEO in 2015 and held the position until 2026. After being diagnosed with kidney disease—becoming the third generation in his family to develop it—he became an entrepreneur, an angel investor, and a mentor to several startup technology companies, including the successful startup ClearFactr. In 2004, after undergoing at-home peritoneal dialysis for a short time. Longino received a life-saving kidney transplant. His personal experience living with end-stage renal disease has made him a passionate advocate for raising awareness about kidney disease and organ donation. He readily shares his story and uses his experience to help other kidney disease patients. Kevin earned a postgraduate degree in financial strategy from Oxford University. He holds a BS in marketing and an MBA from Louisiana Tech University. He lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, with his wife.
